Established in 1991, China-based Tier-1 automotive supplier Guangzhou Jizhong manufactures and sells automotive seat covers and the materials used to produce them.The privately owned enterprise employs a workforce 3,000-strong and operates 10 production facilities located across the country.

Since its founding, Guangzhou Jizhong has invested regularly in advanced equipment, intelligent systems and automation technologies enabling the company to improve its manufacturing processes. Guangzhou Jizhong’s independently operated R&D and production capabilities allow it to develop innovative seating system components for major carmakers Toyota and Honda as well as domestic electric vehicle makers like XPENG, EV Group, and Nio.

The company also works with international automotive seating suppliers Lear, Adient, Faurecia, and Toyota Boshoku.

Guangzhou Jizhong first turned to ����AV’s cutting room expertise in 2009. In the years that followed, the company acquired a total of 15 fabric cutters from ����AV, with long-term contracts for services as well as genuine ����AV parts and consumables for all models. This installed base of fabric-cutting equipment continues to run in Guangzhou Jizhong’s manufacturing facilities. 

In 2021, Guangzhou Jizhong turned once more to ����AV to enhance cutting capabilities at a plant cutting mainly PVC automotive materials.
