Windows 11 Compatible

OMEGA 8.0 is compatible with Windows 11 OS.

Clip Art Toolbar

Commonly used design elements and clip art are made quickly available with this new feature

Navigator Screen

Navigation is made easier with the new Navigator window. This window can be floated over your Composer window or parked on another monitor.

Improved Dimension Toolbar

We added the option to show dimension in Feet-Inches e.g., 4鈥 - 8鈥.

New Effects Toolbar

A very popular request is fulfilled with the addition of this new toolbar for Effects. Keystroke/time savings here that allows you to get your work done faster.

File-Open Enhancements

The preview image saved resolution is increased and is now displayed larger in the open screen. You can see and sort by the data you have saved in the Description, Customer, and Keywords area.

Zoom 1:1

Showing your artwork at a 1:1 ratio on your screen is easy now with the new 1:1 zoom tool.

Export Options Templates

Export to PDF(GSP65) and EPS now has the ability to save option sets as templates. This makes exporting for various applications easier and streamlines the process and ensures export consistency.

Bitmap Fill Justification

When using Bitmap fill you can now select the justification of the image during the filling process

Clipping Path Enhancements

When making a Clipping Path we now hold onto the groups of objects being used in the Clipping Path

Export/Import Customize Keyboa

You now can Save and Load your Customize Keyboard as sets and you can also import and export those to be used on other computers that also have the Load Customize Keyboard option

Export/Import Layouts

You now can Save and Load your toolbar Layouts. This allows you to import and export those to be used on other computers running OMEGA 8.0

Gerber OMEGA Versions

Gerber OMEGA CP (Cut/Print)

Includes all the tools you need to create and output cut vinyl and router jobs, plus has color assignment and output capabilities for all GERBER EDGE series thermal transfer printers. Includes ART Path鈩 software.

Gerber OMEGA Layout Station

Allows for complete design activities without any output. Show customers concepts in the front office. Design on a laptop away from the shop. Add design stations and save files to a network folder for output.

Gerber OMEGA CS (Cut Solution)

Includes all the tools you need to create and output cut vinyl and router jobs, however it cannot output to thermal transfer printers.

Gerber OMEGA Plot Station

Includes all the output capabilities of OMEGA CP with no design capabilities.

ARTPath鈩 & Auto-Carve

ARTPath鈩 routing and engraving software is a simple yet powerful component of OMEGA software that converts vector graphics into Gerber router/cutter tool paths and comes standard with the purchase of any Gerber router or flatbed cutting system.

Using an intuitive, non-CNC graphical user interface, ARTPath provides user control and creation of routing speeds and feeds, male and female tool offsets, engraving paths, multiple offsets, multiple depths, clean-outs, inlays, and more.

Auto-Carve鈩 3D is a software option for ARTPath that enables your Gerber router to create traditional hand-carved looking text and graphics.
